Welcome To
Balanced Exposure!
With the advent of digital cameras, the interest in photography has skyrocketted! But knowing how to take a great picture still remains a mystery to many people. Plus, how do you distinquish a good camera from a mediocre one? What settings do you use to control the camera to get the best shot? How do you use post production software to enhance and correct your digital images? Balanced Exposure explains all that in the various classes, workshops and training programs it offers to both the average photography consumer and the professional photographer.
Providing photography training for the Chicago area, we are located in the northwest suburbs in Schaumburg, Illinois. Our photography classes and photography workshops are great for those in need of a quick and easy way to get started in photography. But we also provide photography training for those who want more in-depth training. For instance, our wedding photography training provides a great foundation for those photographers entering the field. And for photographers who need help in learning studio techniques, Balanced Exposure provides both classes and a location to do that kind of photography!
Why Balanced Exposure?

At Balanced Exposure, we take photography seriously but we don't teach it that way! We want all photographers to create the absolute best images they can but we want them to learn how to do it while having fun.
Today, even inexpensive digital cameras are capable of taking some amazing photographs! Learning to use the new cameras properly is the key to getting great shots. While we can speak "technical talk" with the best of them, we don't do that unless you want us to. We'd rather teach in a language everyone can understand. That's what makes us unique and why our students continue to come back to us to learn more advanced techniques.
